About the Craftsmanship Awards
The Masonry Association of Georgia, Inc. recognizes its outstanding masonry projects at each Craftsmanship Awards ceremony. Our association honors those individuals and firms who have excelled in the design and construction of masonry projects in the current year. We encourage EVERY masonry contractor member to submit at least one project every year. If there are several projects that deserve consideration, contractors are encouraged to submit them all!
In an effort to insure a fair and impartial judging of the CRAFTSMANSHIP of each submitted project, a comprehensive, objective (scale of 1-4) list of criteria has been compiled into judging forms. The panel of judges will do a “hands-on” examination of each project to determine the most excellent craftsmanship on each project. Each Award of Excellence masonry contractor winner and foreman/superintendent will receive a plaque honoring this achievement. The architect and general contractor on each project is also recognized.
